Robert Zeillinger, PhD

Founder and CEO of OncoLab Diagnostics. He also holds a lead­ing posi­tion at the Med­ical Uni­ver­sity of Vienna, Aus­tria, as head of the Mol­e­c­u­lar Oncol­ogy Group at the Depart­ment for Obstet­rics and Gynae­col­ogy. In 1989, he co-​founded Vien­naLab Diag­nos­tics GmbH, an in vitro diag­nos­tics com­pany based in Vienna, Aus­tria, which he suc­cess­fully led until 2010, dri­ving the company’s focus to the com­mer­cial­i­sa­tion of promis­ing diag­nos­tic tests.
Being active for more than 30 years in both aca­d­e­mic and indus­trial research, he is a renowned sci­en­tist and proven leader of inter­dis­ci­pli­nary, multi­na­tional teams. His dis­tin­guished sci­en­tific exper­tise is com­ple­mented by exten­sive expe­ri­ence in coor­di­nat­ing research projects of the EC-​framework pro­grammes FP6 and FP7. He is author and co-​author of more than 200 sci­en­tific pub­li­ca­tions and holds sev­eral patents.

Paul Speiser, MD

Med­ical Advi­sor of Onco­Lab since 2011. He is asso­ciate pro­fes­sor of obstet­rics and gynae­col­ogy at the Med­ical Uni­ver­sity of Vienna, Aus­tria, and con­sul­tant gynae­co­logic oncol­o­gist since 2000. Paul Speiser is the Aus­trian del­e­gate to the Euro­pean Organ­i­sa­tion for Research and Treat­ment of Can­cer (EORTC) and the Gynae­co­logic Can­cer Inter­Group (GCIG); he is board mem­ber of the Aus­trian Gynae­co­logic Can­cer Soci­ety (AGO‐Austria) and the Euro­pean Net­work for Trans­la­tional Research in Ovar­ian Can­cer (EUTROC). After his train­ing in gynae­co­logic surgery in Aus­tralia from 1996 to 2000 he was repeat­edly invited for tem­po­ral vis­it­ing pro­fes­sor­ship to Swe­den, Poland, Czech Repub­lic, Lithua­nia, Eng­land and Australia.

Elisabeth Maritschnegg, PhD

Post­doc­toral fel­low. Elisabeth has received her Master's degree in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Graz, Austria. In the course of her doctroal thesis she substantially contributed to the development and evaluation of a innovative diagnostic approach based on a lavage of the uterine cavity - resulting in the LAVAGE Test. This also included several international multicenter studies. Currently she is participating in several international projects where she analyses different cancer biomarkers. She is experienced in working with circulating tumor cells, circulating DNA, as well as different aspects of the p53 protein.

Gabriele Klaming, MA

COO of Onco­Lab Diag­nos­tics. She holds a Master’s degree in Trans­la­tion Stud­ies from the Uni­ver­sity of Graz, Aus­tria and a Master’s degree in Applied Knowl­edge Man­age­ment from the Uni­ver­sity of Applied Sci­ences in Eisen­stadt, Aus­tria. She has worked in legal lan­guage ser­vices for about ten years and has exten­sive expe­ri­ence in inter­na­tional project man­age­ment and knowl­edge management.

Christa Zeillinger, PhD

Christa Zeillinger is a Biologist and has long­stand­ing expe­ri­ence in diag­nos­tic test kit pro­duc­tion and qual­ity con­trol and assur­ance. Cur­rently, she is in charge of book­keep­ing at Onco­Lab Diag­nos­tics GmbH.
